A direct quote from my constant companion and Wheaten Terrier....Clover.
Today was a day that will live in the hearts and minds of dogs...everywhere. OK, so you think we are being dramatic...I think not. Today after many years of wanting and waiting...my Dutch born dog...finally got to ride on a real boat. Not a tiny canal boat or a village ferry just big enough for a few cars and a couple bikes...NO..a REAL, full sized BOAT!
As a birthday gift to the mother of a girl friend of mine...(you met her earlier...Sol) we took a tourist boat from Heidelberg to Neckarsteinach.
As always Clover was full of excitment for the whole event. He was so focused on the water to the rear of the boat that when the engines started...he let out a big excited BARK.
Ever the gentlemen he tried to focus on spending time with "The Girls" but really his heart was set on reenacting the scene from Titanic...he truly was...KING OF THE WORLD.
I think I have created a monster and now he will pass the ice cafe's and will drag us to the tour boat dock. :)
Nice to share something so simple with him that brought him such joy.
