With great sadness and a heavy heart...I write of the passing of yet another of my little stooges. Today, after a long illness during which Larry fought his hardest, I held my friend while he suffered his last.
Even though Larry has not been himself for a few years, his return to Germany gave him great joy. He has spent the last year enjoying his freedom in a beautiful garden. He caught many mice and slept in the sun on many a sunny warm day.
It was appropriate his passing on this date as it was on Mother's day 15 years ago that he and his precious brothers came into our lives...today, I had to make the choice for him to leave on this mother's day.

Sorry to hear about Larry, I'll bet Clover and the other cat miss him too. Nice that you were there with him. He looks like he enjoyed Christmas!

They all love Christmas in my house. Larry lived the whole season under the tree...it was adorable. We are sad, but I am taking a lesson from my pack here....they seem calmer now that one of them is not suffering. Interesting. It is the circle of life...and Mr. Larry....had a great one.
