We decided on a slow Sunday morning and then headed out to the Wachenheim and their berg fest or castle fest. This castle being a ruin but with an amazing view.
You have to park at the bottom of the hill and hike the way up to the top through the beautifully sun speckled forest. At the top, wrapped around the castle ruin are tents and tables all facing the main band stand. Of course there was music, wine...and food.
