We finished at the weekly green market, it is Spargel zeit...or white asparagus time, so there were new vendors for this season. Spargel is a big deal in German and highly celebrated. They grow asparagus in mounds so it never sees light, never forming Chlorophyll and therefore remaining white. It is made into just about everything from soups to teas. All equally delicious.
While there, a lovely older lady came up to me and at first I thought she had made the mistake others have made, and was asking me what newspaper I worked for :)...benefit of having a huge camera...but after a moment I realized she was asking me how to say in English..."Please pick up my paper while I am on vacation". Funny how word gets around....She was telling me that she had an American woman living in her house and she needed to ask her to pick up her news paper while she was away....I guess I that means I am pretty approachable....and that as Martha Stewart would say...is a good thing. ;)
Well, time to get back to the details of daily living...would rather walk back into town for a gleato....Be good Laura, focus....

Will the Easter Bunny leave those pretty shiny eggs at our house this year? I think that you've been taking pictures of the flowers in my yard! Nice shots.
I like the yellow fuzzy-wuzzies (name?). And the eggs. And all the others too.
