As a reward for great behavior during his hair cut ordeal...I took Clover for a nice long plotch in one of the streams that run into the Neckar.
He really enjoyed some nice quiet time in his own private swimming hole. I of course enjoyed watching him play through the lens of my camera.
At first I think he was trying to catch a few of the small fish who live in the stream. After they became to difficult to catch he moved onto rubbish removal along the stream bottom. He had more fun digging up all the old sticks and twigs...some a bit larger and dragging them out of the water to drop next to me.
As usual...after our long play and long walk...he is fast asleep at my feet. A look of bliss on his...mug.

He looks a mess but I'm sure that he had a great time. And he always cleans up purty!
Ah it is so worth the brushing when he is so happy.
