The View finders...

All around my village of Ladenburg you see these interesting information signs. As an artist I find them a very creative way to show people with perhaps an untrained eye, how to see composition. When I was in art school we would actually take a piece of card board and create a window like this to help us view how things would look on paper or canvas.

These information boards do a similar job, while also showing the visitor what the view use to look like before the beautification of Ladenburg....before the changes.

It is a great way to view the world around you...to create an artists eye.

They have these in Belgium too. And, sadly, by some genius' design they are on the freeways!! I have seen them in Germany and it is a great idea in touristy areas.
